Almarc was founded in Northern Italy by Mr. Roberto Lissoni and his beloved brother back in 1975.
Since the very beginning, the company had great success and got contracts with many of the major bicycle manufacturers producing at the time. Names like Bianchi, Colnago, Ciöcc, Cinelli, Stelbel and many others were regular customers.
The patented technique and great artisanship helped these two brothers to have great success in the business. Each and every handlebar was carefully prepared. Using a fine, soft high quality leather, which was glued and beautifully hand-stitched. A long procedure, which guaranteed a stunningly elegant results, reserved only for top range bicycles.
Times have changed, and Almarc disappeared from the horizon, forgotten by all except passionate vintage bicycle collectors. In 2013, thanks to Roberto’s passion and the support of his family, Almarc re-opened its doors, dusted off their old tools and started producing leather handlebar wraps again.

All new or NOS (New Old Stock) products must be returned in original packaging, with original labels. Items cannot be worn or used before returning. Any items that are returned without original packaging or labels, or not in original condition will not be accepted.

If you are not satisfied with the item you have purchased, you can return it for a complete refund within 7 days of delivery. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total refund.
