Here he is, wearing his favorite jersey from GBC team. Franco Cortinovis, professional rider between the end of 60’s and beginning of 70’s.  Italian Junior champion in 1968 and winner of a Giro d’Italia stage in 1969. But he also participated to most of the classic races in that period, such as “Milano -Sanremo” and “Tirreno-Adriatica”.

The bike he’s holding is a Masi Gran Criterium, “made to measure” for him by master Faliero Masi in the early 70’s, and now carefully restored. Mr. Franco raced with this bike till 1975. His name is engraved on the stem, together with the signature “Joker” logo of his mechanic in mid 70’s, Mr. Maffioletti.  Parts are all original.
